NaNoWriMo

National Novel Writing Month: November in New York. It's not then and I'm not there but the acronym suggests writing in a hurry: something I often do.

The objective is to write a novel of 50'000 words or more in a month: that's only 1667 words per day on average.

I'm not saying I can - or will - do it but I have time to kill: watch this space.

The first thing is a title to build upon; an idea; a premise: I have none.

Random thoughts then; literally ones which have popped into my head:

"Sand in my Vagina";

"The Giraffe Who Saw Too Much";

"The Wolf That Cried Boy";

"Crocodile Years";

"The Camel With the Hump".

Anyone? Anyone?

  1. Really liked 'Old wives tale' - I reckon you could take that basic idea and do 50000 words. Stop putting yourself down. it seems that shit happened because of xyz - you are now addressing xyz and you should be proud of that.
    Your blog says: "Smoking kills you and others around you. So do drugs and drinking. And gambling too: I’ve done them all and more besides"
    What else is there? You've obviously found a vice I haven't and I need to know what it is
